Alhamdulillah... I'm So Lucky...

Sometimes, when we have something, or get something, or learn something, we forget to say 'ALHAMDULILLAH'... but we often thank to people for their help, gifts, and so on...

Surely we must thank to those who help us and give us things, but we must also thank to ALLAH because it's He who opens their heart to do all the good deeds.

Come to think about it, there are a bunch of people I'd like to thank to...

1. Of course my mom and dad... for giving birth of me, taking care of me, raising me, protecting me, giving me the best education, and for all their sacrifices....

2. My beloved hubby... for loving me, supporting me, making me happy, also for always being there for me and for everything...

3. My parents in-law... for being the best parents in-law in the whole universe... for all the love and care and for everything...

4. All my sahabat... for being such a good friend...

5. All my teachers... for everything you taught me...

6. All my kids... for all the challenges in upbringing you my dear (^^) ...

Pagi tadi, we all ke PASTI untuk ambil record book Amal & Anis. Since this year PASTI tak sempat nak adakan sambutan Hari Guru, so terlewat sikit la prepare these gifts untuk guru2 PASTI coz a bit busy with business, with Aisyah's request and also with the preparation untuk our newborn nanti.


And since 2 of our kids yang belajar kat PASTI, unfair la kalau just Amal yang bagi all the gifts to the teachers. Nanti ada pulak yang merajuk. So, tadi Amal bagi hadiah, Anis bagi kad. Ok la, sama2 bagi. Hopefully all the teachers, Cikgu Lia, Cikgu Kiah, Cikgu Ros, Cikgu Nor and Cikgu Nani enjoy the gift (^^).

My Boys Are Acting Out!

My day normally starts with a CRY. It's either Fathi, or Hifdzi, or both, and sometimes Amal and Anis too... they are acting out coz they are having another baby brother in a week or two. That's normal for kids at their age, too young to have a new baby. Everytime when I got pregnant, it's always the same. All they want is to get my attention.

And this morning, was the same. Fathi cried coz he wanted to go out with hubby. Hubby was working on his bike before going to work. So, he couldn't attend to Fathi yet. For about half an hour Fathi cried... and he didn't just cry, but he kicked me and bit me...

He acted out not only because he's gonna have another baby brother, but also because he rarely gets to spend time with hubby. He only gets to see him early in the morning, right before hubby goes to work. Hubby always gets home late at night, between 11-12. Sometimes even after 12. There are times when he gets home after 10. But he rarely gets home between 8-9, maybe not more than 5 days in a month, or maybe less. So, everytime when hubby's at home, all our kids would ask everything from him, and wherever he goes, they would tag along... huhuhu...

And this morning, after hubby finished working on his bike, he took all the girls to school. Then he took both Fathi and Hifdzi on a ride. Only then Fathi stopped crying, finally...

So, after hubby goes to work, things go back to normal, they both 'attack' me!... huhuhu... colours of my life.... (^^)

When He Kicks...

The bigger my baby grows, the stronger he kicks... and most of time, when he does, it hurts, a lot, as if he was gonna kick his way out of my tummy... huhuhu...

And just like Fathi and Hifdzi, he surely kicks a lot... or maybe more... day and night... and when he kicks during night time, I couldn't sleep coz I feel his hands and feet stretching... and when he does his 'mou ying keuk', I really really need to go to the bathroom...

Sometimes I feel his kicks right through my chest. That surely hurts... also whenever he's having a fight with Fathi or Hifdzi (who kicks my tummy or jumps on it) occasionally...

Just another week or two, then he can do his kicking elsewhere, like both of his koko... hmm... maybe I'll give him a pillow... hehehe...

When You're Pregnant

When you're pregnant, it's normal to :

~ Loose your appetite in the 1st and 3rd trimesters (depends)

~ Crave for something, normally food, sometimes even the one you dislike before (depends)

~ Be emotionally unstable that sometimes you may even cry for no reason

~ Be more sensitive

~ Crave for more attention from your spouse especially during the 3rd trimester

~ Many more emotional changes....

All these are caused by the pregnancy hormones. Make sure that you learn how to cope with all these changes so that you enjoy your pregnancy up to the day you deliver your baby because your emotion affects your baby as well as your eating habits.

Just A Small Cut

For my art work

After I finished making cards for my moms, I started working on making cards for my kids' teachers, for Teacher's Day this coming 16th. Since I've ran out of paper cuts (coz Fathi played with it and ruined it), so I had to cut more.

And yesterday (May 10, 2012), after I drove Aisyah to her school, I started cutting papers. All of a sudden, I accidently cut my left hand finger! Ouch!!... I was being careful all the time... didn't know how it happened... it just did...

It was just a small cut, but the blood that came out of it was quite a lot. It kept on dripping on the table, so I had to lay some kitchen towels on it. I waited for it to stop dripping before washing my hand.

It took few minutes to stop dripping. Then I cleaned up my hand and the table. Then, I took a tablet of Iron Folic to cover my blood lost. Though it wasn't a lot, but I felt a bit dizzy.

Moral of the story, be CAREFUL when handling a knife. If there are any disturbance and you lost your concentration, STOP holding the knife, put it down before you accidently cut yourself!

What A Day!

Monday, May 7, 2012 : as usual I drove Aisyah to her evening school. Fathi and Hifdzi were both watching the TV along with Amal and Anis. So, I didn't bother bringing them along. Plus, I needed to buy some things. I was actually glad that they didn't realize that I was going out... hehehe...

But when I got home....

"Ma... Hifdzi yak yak atas lantai!...." shouted Amal as soon as I opened the door... huhuhu.... one thing I forgot to do before going out - to pin Hifdzi's shirt to his pants! Alhamdulillah Amal quickly told Hifdzi to get into the toilet, closed the door and waited for me to get home.

He didn't just pooped on the floor, but he peed also. But still, I'm so grateful that he did all that on a floor instead of the bed... syukur Alhamdulillah...

So, I started cleaning before attending to Hifdzi coz if I bathed him first, he might step on it afterward. After I finished cleaning (almost threw up actually), I went to him. He was playing in the toilet.

Oh Hifdzi.... soo naughty! He really likes to take off his pants and diapers then pees on the floor... huhuhu... one of his ways of protesting! Just like Fathi when he was about to have a baby brother...

Just Another Day Of My Life...

Everyday is quite the same.... prepare the girls for school in the morning... then Fathi and Hifdzi conquer the house - all the toys, the PC and me... huhuhu... for the rest of the day, I'm their punching bag, landing pad and etc.

Noon, the girls come home from school. That's when all the noise begins to start.... girls! Have to serve them lunch, have to 'diapers-fight' with Hifdzi, have to prepare Aisyah for her evening school and have to prepare for unexpected event!

Yesterday, as usual, have to 'diapers-fight' with Hifdzi (it has become his habit to run away everytime I change his diapers, just like Fathi when he was at the same age). If I caught him, he would kick me on the tummy, over and over. Thought I've won the fight. So I went on with my other works. Then, Fathi's diapers was torn and the gel dropped out. Have to pick them up one by one... huhuhu.... then, after giving Fathi a bath, saw Hifdzi half naked, with only his shirt on. Oh no! Not again!....

And guess what! He already peed! But Alhamdulillah he peed on the floor, makes the cleaning job easier. And he just stood there, looking down at the floor... syukur... Then, as usual, another 'diapers-fight'... huhuhu... and for that 2 events, Aisyah went to school a bit late that evening... poor Aisyah....

Well, that didn't end the day... later that evening, after I picked up Aisyah from school, when I was giving them dinner, as usual, Anis and Amal would play with Fathi... they ran across the dining room, laughing and screaming... and this normally ends with Fathi throwing up his food. And it did!... huhuhu...

So, last night, I had to force them to go to bed early coz I felt sooo exhausted! hehehe... then I woke up in the middle of the night to wait for hubby and to finish up all my jobs. Just another day of my life....

Outstation

Monday evening, hubby took a flight back to KB on business purpose, leaving me and the kids here in KL. He'll be back tonight. Well, he's probably on his way to the office by now coz his flight back to KL was supposed to be this morning. What I mean is he'll be HOME tonight. Haven't heard from him yet. 2 nights and 2 days without him at home... me alone handling our kids... huhuhu... but that's the sacrifice we have to make for our future.

We actually planned to go to Kelantan all together, the whole family because we're running the business together, hubby and me. We always attend all appointments together, all major functions together, in another word, we're always together. But due to some circumstances, this time, we weren't able to. So, he had to go alone for the appointments.

In these 2 nights and 2 days (including today), we're far apart, not just by distance, but also by communication. This is because whenever he's away, no matter how far or how long, I won't call him, or even text him. Not because I don't miss him, I do, a lot! But because I don't want to disturb him. I want him to concentrate on what he's doing coz I know, if I call him, he'll loose his concentration. And as a wife, I'm supposed to make things easy for him. Unless if he calls me, which means he has extra time.

Some people may call their spouse every 5-10 minutes, or every half hour, or every hour whenever they're apart or whenever they're out for too long. For them, that's romantic, that's the way to show their love. Nothing wrong with that. Depends on the individual itself. But for me, I won't disturb my hubby coz I know him. I won't call him even if he goes out to meet his friends till 1-2am coz I know, he would only do so because he has important things to do or discuss.

Not calling him or texting him doesn't mean I don't miss him, or concern about him. I do. I only do so because I respect him and trust him and because we understand each other. I would only call him when I have to, like when there are emergencies at home or when I'm not feeling well that I couldn't attend to the kids. Besides that, no calls, no text!

Horse Ride @ DARC

Yesterday evening, we took the kids to DARC for a new experience. When we first got there, we just look around, not sure whether we were allowed to ride on the horses. But then, one of the guys who works there explained to us that as a member, we get FREE joyride (3 rounds). As a non-member, we have to pay RM5 per head.

The kids were so excited! It was a new experience to us... well, most of us... I didn't take the ride coz I'm 34th week now... huhuhu... but it was fun though.... the kids enjoyed it so much... they even begged for more...

Some Old Memories

Alhamdulillah petang tadi selesai proses men drill dinding untuk pasang rail (curtain) kat living room. Hopefully lepas ni takder la yang bergayut kat situ pulak... dah macam-macam cara dah pasang curtain tu, semuanya tercabut coz anak-anak jadikan 'buai'... huhuhu....

Dua hari lepas settle curtain kat dalam bilik tidur. Tapi yang tu tak drill pun, main paku jer. So, tinggal lagi curtain kat dalam guest room dengan kat kitchen. Yang tu boleh KIV dulu la kot. Tunggu bersalin dulu... hehehe...

Petang tadi boleh tahan jugak penatnya coz banyak yang nak kena drill. Tapi syukur Alhamdulillah kebetulan hubby balik awal sikit, boleh la dia tolong drill yang last sekali. Thanx bang (^^)...

Cendol

Keliurnya tengok gambar cendol ni.... tetiba lak mengidam nak makan cendol... lambatnya nak balik kampung... last year masa balik, sempat gi Rantau Panjang jap ngan ma dan adik, so dapatla merasa cendol... seedaap.... hihihi... jauhnyer kena 'merantau' baru dapat makan cendol... huhuhu.... balik kampung nanti, nak makan puas2 (^^) insya Allah, mudah2an ada rezki....

31st Week

Cepatnya masa berlalu... sedar tak sedar, dah pun 31 minggu pregnant. Kalau sebelum2 ni, sampai ke 39 minggu pun Alhamdulillah still boleh berlari kejar anak2 lagi, boleh exercise kejar anak2 kat playground, boleh dukung yang masih kecik... tapi kali ni, 31 minggu pun dah rasa terlalu exhausted. Nak lari kejar anak2 pun, kalau dah terpaksa sangat. Nak ke mana2 pun, kadang tu rasa cam kurang rajin jer... dukung Fathi dan Hifdzi pun sebab kesian kat depa bila depa merajuk.... Naper jadi camtu ek? Sebab tak larat? Dah makin bertambah usia?... hmm... actually sebab tenaga dah terlalu banyak digunakan untuk benda2 lain....

Dulu, tak perlu drive tiap hari. Sekarang tiap2 hari drive hantar dan amik Aisyah sekolah. For those yang drive kereta auto + power stereng, maybe it's a small matter. But me... I drive a manual car.... ulang sekali lagi yer, kereta MANUAL + stereng biasa... my mom said after dia pernah drive sekali my car – stereng kereta kami berat woo..... (bukan ayat dia la, just mafhumnya... hehehe) So, sekali tu jer lah dia drive my car.... huhuhu... but still, eventhough it's a manual, but it's our precious one... sentimental value tuu.... sayaang.... (^^)

I'm My Bb's Teether (^^)

Babies who are about to grow teeth are tend to BITE. Normally we would give them soft things such as TEETHER. There are so many designs, sizes and brands out there. But I bet you won't find any 'MAMA' brand at any shop (^^).

But here, at my home, we do have a 'MAMA' brand teether... that's ME... hehehe... I've been my kids' teether right from the eldest one till Hifdzi, eventhough we do have real teethers.  The girls didn't bite as much as the boys though, and not as hurt. Till today, Fathi and Hifdzi still bite me, eventhough they already have more than 8 teeth! It won't matter if they just bite, but the way they bite me, as if I'm a chicken DRUMSTICK!... and they won't bite just once at a time, but many times... huhuhu... hurts so much....

But syukur Alhamdulillah, they only bite me, and sometimes they bite my hubby (not as much as they did me though). Some kids even bite other people or other kids! It's a relief that my kids aren't like that.

Maybe it's their way of showing protests or anger, coz they normally do that when someone irked them. Oh my boys! One day, when they grow up, I want them to read this (^^)... it's a sweet memory... one of their naughty moments....

Turunkan Ilmu Pada Anak2

Antara aktiviti di waktu lapang - design dan jahit PVC keychain. Makin hari rasa makin berbaloi bila dapat habiskan masa dengan benda2 berfaedah. Especially kalau anak2 dan hubby suka serta support. Bila diingatkan balik, rasa bertuah sangat coz masa sekolah rendah dulu, mama dah ajar menjahit (tangan dan mesin). So, bila dah besar camni, takderlah nak kena cari kelas jahitan. Bukan saja dapat jimat duit, bahkan boleh buat duit!

Moral of the story, kalau kita ada apa2 skill atau kelebihan, ajarkan pada anak2. Especially kalau anak dah tunjuk minat nak belajar. Setakat ni yang betul2 suka menjahit dan yang betul2 suka art, anak saya yang sulong, Aisyah. Dia suka sangat kalau tengok saya menjahit atau baking. Bila ada kesempatan, bila adik2 dia dah tido (tu pun dah tengah malam), boleh la saya bagi dia buat yang simple2. Tapi berjaga malam la jawabnya kami dua beranak... but it's worth it, coz dia happy... dan Alhamdulillah setakat ni, hasil dia cantik2 (^^).... betul2 anak mama... hehehe (mode perasan la tu... hihihi...)

Flower Patch

Xtvt time2 boring.... cari baju atau seluar anak2 yang lama atau yang takder decoration, cari idea nak buat design apa, reka2, then gunting kemudian jahit patches. Hasilnya.... kan cantik tu (mode perasan) hehehe.... apa yang penting, anak2 suka dan saya pun happy bila tengok mereka gembira bila pakai baju atau seluar tersebut.

Simplest design

Ada kawan yang tanya saya, saya attend kelas jahit ker? Err.... confuse jap nak jawab. Jahitan kat atas tu, rasa2nya simple jer. Tak perlu nak attend kelas. Kalau nak menyulam, maybe perlu attend kelas sulaman atau boleh refer buku bagi yang dah ada asas. Atau kalau nak jahit baju kurung etc. memang la perlu attend kelas jahit. Tapi, kalau setakat nak jahit patch ni, atau nak tampung baju yang koyak, rasanya tak perlu kot.

Saya tak pernah pulak attend mana2 kelas jahit. Tapi, maybe sebab masa sekolah rendah dulu mama dah pun ajar camner nak jahit, either jahit guna tangan atau jahit guna mesin, dua2 pun mama dah ajar dulu. So, kalau setakat nak jahit yang simple2 tu, insya Allah boleh la. Bila fikir2 balik kan, Alhamdulillah la mama sanggup nak ajar dulu, kalau tak, mesti sekarang ni merangkak2 kalau nak jahit baju... huhuhu....

Moral of the story, masa anak2 kecik ni, ajar la mereka semua kemahiran yang kita ada. Especially kalau mereka tunjuk minat pada satu2 kemahiran tu. At least bila dah besar nanti, mereka boleh berdikari. Betul tak? (^^)

Weekend jadi lebih bermakna bila dapat spend dengan anak2. Walaupun kadang tu, agak stress dengan gelagat mereka yang tak boleh duduk diam, tapi di situlah manisnya kehidupan... tulah yang hubby selalu pesan bila dia tengok saya stress sikit.... memang betul apa yang hubby pesan... bila anak2 happy, kita pun akan happy walaupun penat melayan segala karenah mereka... lagipun, bukankah anak merupakan amanah dari Allah? Buatlah yang terbaik untuk mereka, insya Allah besar ganjaran di sisi Allah....

Nama - Doa & Harapan

Just sharing my thoughts....

sekarang ni, ramai yang ketandusan idea bila nak namakan anak mereka. Kenapa yer? Maybe sebab mereka terlalu inginkan satu nama yang unik dan canggih coz dah jadi trend sekarang ni nama anak2 semuanya canggih2 belaka.

Bagi kami suami isteri, unik atau tidak, canggih atau tidak, semua tu tak penting. Apa yang penting pada nama adalah MAKSUD serta HURAIANnya kerana nama adalah DOA dan HARAPAN kita sebagai IBU BAPA terhadap anak2 yang dilahirkan. Baik maksud nama yang kita hadiahkan pada anak, insya Allah baik jugalah akhlaknya kerana setiap kali kita panggil dia dengan nama tersebut, kita sebenarnya sedang mendoakannya.

That's why, sejak sekolah rendah sampailah sekarang ni, bila saya introduce diri, saya akan sebut nama penuh, NAJDAH. Dan bila orang tanya saya nak panggil apa, saya akan jawab 'NAJDAH'. Nama pun dah singkat, rasanya tak perlu la nak disingkatkan lagi. Lagipun, nanti hilanglah maksud nama kalau dah disingkatkan. Tapi kan, ada jer yang singkatkan nama saya... huhuhu... sedih rasanya bila ada yang panggil dengan nama separuh ni... parents hadiahkan nama NAJDAH ni, walaupun tak seunik dan secanggih nama2 lain, merupakan doa dan harapan mereka supaya saya jadi hambaNya yang baik dan suka menolong orang. Hopefully, in future, semua kawan2 akan panggil saya NAJDAH, insya Allah....
