Managed to make few of these for my room decorations. Still have loooooong way to go...have few other things in mind too...roses...flower ball...ribbons...and many more...need to make a proper plan though so my room won't look like a wrapped gift...yikes :P

Pregnancy And Supplement

During my first pregnancy, little I know about nutrition and wellness for pregnant women. I only took what I thought was important to me and my baby. But then, only after I delivered my first child, I found out that what I took was only a part of it.

These are among what is important for a pregnant woman and the baby she's carrying...

Multivitamin to ensure our body gets all the necessary vitamins, thus giving the baby all the vitamins it needs.

Protein is the major food source from which blood, muscles and tissues are built. It's important for the development of the baby and it helps in wound healing.

Iron helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevention of iron anaemia. While Folic Acid helps prevent neural tube defect in the foetus. It is very important for pregnant women (during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy) and those who are planning to conceive.

Vitamin C (best taken with Bioflavonoid to prolong the existence of vitamin C in our system) is an antioxidant needed for maintaining healthy bones, teeth and gums and is important for the baby's immune system. It also aids in wound healing. Meanwhile, for pregnant women it helps to prevent bleeding gums.

Calcium is the main components of our bones and teeth, it influences blood clotting, transmissions of nerve impulses, maintenance of cell membranes, enzyme reactions and hormone secretions.

While Magnesium is important for healthy cells, the manufacture of proteins and normal kidney functions. A deficiency of Magnesium affects the body's ability to regulate its use of Calcium. That's why it's best to consume Calcium together with Magnesium.

It's for the baby's bones and teeth and helps to prevent backache and cramps.

B Complex is essential for the development of red blood cells as well as the normal functioning of the nervous system. It helps promote healthy skin, nails, hair and eyes and also assists in the release of energy from fats, carbohydrates and proteins.

If we can get all these essential vitamins from our daily meal, then there is no need to take any supplements. But the problem is, our eating habit! We tend to consume unhealthy food, mostly fast food which is as we all know, not good for our health! And yet, we prefer to consume it anyway... huhu...

Dua Due Date

Masa mula2 detect pregnant (again), saya cek due date di web Baby Center. Based on calculation, EDD saya supposed to be on Nov 6 or 7.

1st check up, doktor bagi due Nov 7, 2013. Ok. Due date was saved in my calendar!

Pregnant kali ni, lebih kurang sama masa pregnant all 3 boys, Alhamdulillah takder alahan. Hasan still manja. The others pun dah start their tantrums again (this is normal bila depa nak dapat adik baru... huhuhu...). So, this time, it was quite exhausting coz I need to face 6 small, active, energetic kids...

Months passed by... Alhamdulillah every check-up I went through with no difficulties... the only 'bad' part was masa nak kena cek diabetes... huhu... nak tak nak, kena jugak minum air gula (><) ... other than that, semuanya fine Alhamdulillah...

Masa kandungan 5-6 bulan, doktor scan baby. On the screen, EDD was stated Nov 25! Hah? How come?? Such a huge gap between 6 and 25! Mana satu nak pilih ni?? Bincang2 dengan doktor, dia lebih yakin dengan result scan. So I was like 'Okeeeeey...' (eventhough I was a bit frustated)...

Hujung Oct, check-up di specialist. Doktor kira date based on 1st day of last period (basic normal calculation). EDD given, Nov 6! Hah? Pulaaak....

So I was like... err... doktor... my previous doctor said bla... bla... bla...

And the doctor was like... calculation based on tarikh period lebih tepat berbanding EDD masa scan. Reason dia, tarikh period tak berubah whereas EDD masa scan based on size janin which is tak fixed. Erm... betul jugak... now why didn't I think of that!?

So now, my actual EDD was Nov 6! And Alhamdulillah I gave birth to a healthy and cute baby boy on Nov 7, 2014 (^^)

Tudung Labuh Inspirasihana

Masa mula2 tudung ber 'awning' ni timbul di pasaran, saya tercari2 jugak yang labuh coz senang pakai, dah tak perlu nak lipat bahagian tepi. Tapi sayangnya kat Malaysia ni belum ada yang labuh (masa tu). Bila google kat internet pun, yang ada hanyalah di Indonesia. Kalau di Malaysia ni, kena tempah baru boleh dapat. Tu pun tak ramai yang boleh amik tempahan tudung ber 'awning' ni.

Kebetulan tadi, husband saya tengah google tudung labuh kat internet. Dia terjumpa satu website tudung labuh dan dia tunjuk kat saya. Memang menarik koleksi tudung di Inspirasihana. Tudung2 dia bukan sahaja labuh, tapi cantik.

Mana2 sahabat yang tercari2 tudung labuh ber 'awning', boleh la visit ke Inspirasihana.

Tesco Online Shopping

Nowadays people like to do their shopping online. Me? I'm still 'old-style' because I kinda like to 'hand-pick' all the stuff I need :P (just to make sure that all the stuff I get are in its pristine condition).

2 days ago, I decided to do my shopping online. Just to see how it goes. So I browsed the Tesco online shopping web, chose all the groceries I need and finally chose the delivery date. I chose today.

And this morning, the delivery guys came. They gave me my order list, they brought all the stuff to my doorstep and asked me to check everything. So I went through all the stuff, make sure that everything was there, and finally made the payment.

I'm truly satisfied with the Tesco online shopping and the delivery service. The best part, Tesco only charge me RM10 for delivery. How cool is that! And the stuff are in pretty good condition :)

So if you guys are busy, have no time for shopping, not really like to get stucked in the traffic, I guess online shopping is the best choice. This way, you save a lot of time and money (petrol & toll).

I was craving for this when I was still pregnant. But that time I didn't know where to get it from. I've never seen it at Econsave or Max Value or even at 7 E.

Found it last night at Tesco, finally! And the taste…yummy…

Line 7 vs Pallas Jazz

For the past 3 years, we've been 'loyal' to Pallas Jazz. Both Aisyah and Amal had 2 pairs each. So this year, we plan to get the same pair for Anis. But as we were choosing her size at the store, hubby saw this Line 7 shoes. We instantly fell in love with this one because the outer part is rubber instead of cloth.

What's so good about rubber shoes? It's easy to clean! Just wipe it with wet cloth. Whereas the cloth type needs washing and brushing and of course drying…which is kinda wasting time and energy.

But of course the price is higher than Pallas Jazz. Pallas only costs you around RM25 while Line 7 costs you RM30++. Differs only by less than RM10. Still affordable.

Another advantage of rubber shoes is that we only need to get one pair for each, one for Aisyah, one for Amal and one for Anis. Whereas if we take the Pallas Jazz, we would have to get 2 pairs for each of them. So, we actually save a lot!

Hard To Say Goodbye!

Sunday, Aug 4, 2013 : It was noon when we headed to Kemaman to visit my dad who was hospitalised few days before. We reached there at 5.30pm. Met my sister who was looking after our dad this whole time. She told me not to be surprised…which gave me unpleasent feeling :(

When I heard my dad was hospitalised, I never thought he was in critical condition coz 2 weeks before when we went to visit him, he seemed fine. We talked and dine (berbuka) together. It never occured to me that it would be the last dinner I had with him…

It was still visiting hour when we arrived at the hospital. I went in first with my sister. Hubby stayed in the car looking after the kids. The minute I saw my dad, lying unconscious on the bed, I cried. Only then I realised that he was very ill.

I hold him, kissed him on the cheek…he was warm…he was breathing pretty hard…his eyes were closed…and it remained closed untill I left the ward :(

After I came out, my hubby went in. About half an hour later, hubby came out. And dad was still unconscious.

We break our fast at the hospital. After prayer time, hubby went in again. He recited surah Yaasin. When he came out, he told me that dad was breathing smoothly. So we decided to proceed our plan, that is to head for Kelantan, assuming that my dad would get better.

Sadly, he didn't! Just about an hour after we left the hospital, my brother-in-law texted me, telling me to turn back. I called him…asked him why?…what's wrong with dad?… He told me that the doctor was checking on dad…to confirm his death!

I cried all the way back to the hospital… no word can describe how I felt that time… part of me died along that night :(

I miss my dad so much… I miss him telling me "I love you" everytime he ended his call. I miss his voice… I miss everything about him…

On the night of 27th Ramadhan, I lost my hero, my most beloved dad. It was like a dream…hard for me to accept…but that's just life…no matter how hard for me to let him go, I still have to let him go…but he'll forever be in my heart, in my mind…and I will forever love him, as he had loved me…

Te…may peace be upon you…and may Allah bless you…I love you so much…my only regret is that I never get to say I Love You for the last time…

Back To School 2014

This year, 4 of our kids are going to school - 3 at primary and 1 at PASTI (pre-school). So the expenses kinda increase a bit (actually quite a lot). And life is surely getting busier...

There are a lot of things that need to be bought before the school day starts. Some I can get from just any shop, while some other need to be bought only at the school shop ie. PBS workbooks. The school uniform, note books, basic stationery are all essential. While the workbooks on the other hand, is 'on-request' basis.

Why did I say 'on-request' basis? Because in my experience, only some teachers use the PBS workbooks, while others only use the workbooks given by the school. Last year I got all the workbooks that had been suggested by the shop keeper and ended wasting it coz they weren't being used. So this year, I decided to wait for the teachers' instruction :)

Sometimes, we tend to spend on unnecessary stuff, unconsciously. So, to ensure that I don't overspend, I make a list of all items to buy, as usual. It's kinda our routine to make a shopping list everytime we go shopping. And as last year, I've prepared for the unexpected 'loss' ie missing eraser, sharpener, or broken ruler etc. I've bought note books, pencils, book wrapper, eraser in bulk, knowing that throughout the year, the kids are gonna need them. This has saved me plenty of 'shopping hour' and money coz things are much cheaper if you buy it in bulk.

Not All Women Are The Same

Assumptions can sometimes hurt people's feeling…especially bad assumptions…and so does prejudgment.

Men like to think that all women are the same. They like to think that all women like jewellery, diamonds, bags, shoes, all those luxuries and also window shopping. In another word, they think that all women like spending money. They're wrong! TOTALLY!

Not all women are as what they think. There are a lot of women out there that are different…and I live among them…and I'm also one of them.

Different than some women, my mom, mom-in-law and I are not really into all those luxuries, jewellery, diamonds etc. I also don't like handbags, window shopping, makeup, or having a huge collection of shoes and watches. I'm not a fan of cars or luxury homes etc.

A conversation with my hubby's friend few weeks ago kinda forced me to write this. He told us that his wife asked for a luxury car. He said that, women are tend to spend their husbands' money. So if not managed carefully, the wife might overspend.

To me, there's nothing wrong for a wife to ask something from the husband…a token of appreciation perhaps…after all, the wife has indeed sacrificed a lot for the husband and their children. But I myself prefer not to ask for anything. Maybe because I have nothing to ask for. And if I do have something that I want, I would rather use my own money than to burden my husband.

One thing we as a wife need to understand…the money that our husband work for everyday is for the survival of the family. Therefore, as a wife, we need to think a way of spending it wisely. And only on necessities. That is our responsibilities.

To men, not all women are the same. As a human being, we are all different from one another. And as a husband and wife, we just simply complete each other. Appreciate each other for each of us has made a huge sacrifice for our family in our own way.

Fathi's Present

One morning…

"Ma…Fathi nak toy Lightning McQueen dalam 'present'…Fathi bangun, SURPRISE!!…"

Subhanallah!!… at such a young age, Fathi manages to use his 'imagination skill' very well, Alhamdulillah…

He's been asking for Lightning McQueen for quite a long time. We've promised to get him one after he'd completed his toilet training for 1 month.

And finally, the day he's been waiting for has come…and both he and Hifdzi were happy to get their presents.

The Big Bad Wolf!!

If I'm to go hiking, I'm more than 100% sure that I wouldn't wanna come across with a wolf, not to mention a big and bad ones ;)

But this 'wolf', eventhough it's both BIG and BAD, I'm pretty much sure that thousands of people are dying to meet…hehehe…

Heard 'bout it from some of my friends and relatives tru Fb. Was actually kinda 'dreaming' to go. So when hubby said he wanna go and take a look, I was like hoorayyy!! ngee…

But if you wanna go there, make sure your tummy is full coz you would be spending hours and hours just browsing tru all the books! But not to worry though coz there are plenty of food courts around. Just have the money, and you can stay there all day long!

We managed to grab few books. Couldn't stay long coz my tummy was grumbling ;P

But just on our way out, there was another section…lotsa cool stuff…managed to grab few stickers and some patterned paper… off to lunch then…

Our visit to the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale was quite short. But it was more than enough. One thing though, I still can't quite understand how does the 'big bad wolf' relate to book sales? hurm…

Cute Stickers

Found these cute stickers @ Popular when I was shopping for my craft materials 2 nights ago. Was a bit sad coz what I really wanted is out of stock. But I wouldn't say my visit to the store was a waste of time (at least not entirely) considering what I got :) Plus, the price is reasonable…and I did get 70% discount (which I didn't realised until I got home) hehehe…

Got some photos developed to fill the album…costs me RM2 per piece! Wow!! Never thought a piece of photo would cost that much nowadays…huhuhu…well, maybe because the size is small…but shouldn't smaller size cheaper than bigger ones?…weird…

Blogging Again!

Wow!! How time flies!! It's been more than a year since my last post and I didn't even realise it!

It's Nov now… and 2013 is about to end… a year full of memories… sweet and sad… there's so much to tell… so much that I don't even know where to begin…

All I can say is, this year affected me deeply… things that happened, made me think about lots of things… made me realise about life itself…

I want to keep everything remembered… every single event in my life so that one day me, my hubby and our kids can read it together… and there's only one place to keep it safe, that is HERE! In this blog! So, from now on, I will keep on blogging… I will keep all our memories safe and sound in this blog, insyaAllah…

It's said that his outfit is kinda his TRADEMARK... huhuhu... must have dozens in his wardrobe... hihihi...

Unifi

Unifi router

Alhamdulillah, since we changed to Unifi, the internet connection is SUPERB! No more 'buffering', no more 'no connection', no more 'connect-disconnect-reconnect' the line... blogging, Fb-ing, net-surfing are much faster and easier than before... so grateful!

Plus, we get 15 free TV channels with HyppTV along with radio channels (HotFM, FlyFM etc). Just like Astro! And for the 1st month after installation, we get FREE 52 channels! Wow!

The kids love Nick Jr (channel 132), a cartoon channel. For me, this channel is a lot better than TV9's cartoon series coz in this channel, they only have educational cartoons. And Fathi learns a lot from them.

There's more! We also get fixed line at home. FREE calls to fixed line! How great that is!

Boy! I'm so grateful to have Unifi installed at home. Thanx to hubby (^^)

Not just that, I'm so happy coz I'm able to help my friends to get Unifi installed at their home. For those who are interested, give me a call guys (^^) insya Allah I'll be able to help.

Room Makeover

1/4 completed

I'm now in the process of 'Room Makeover'... need to clean-up 2 rooms... lots to be done... there are things to be disposed... things to be given away... and syukur Alhamdulillah I've completed halfway of it (^^) looking for another chance to finish it up... a bit challenging though now that I have to concentrate on my baby and both Fathi and Hifdzi are still giving me attitude... huhuhu...

Hopefully all the cleaning-up job will be completed before Ramadhan, insya Allah... (^^)

Set Bersalin

Alhamdulillah, thanx to my beloved hubby coz belikan set bersalin Tropical Herbs ni. Walaupun berpantang sendiri, tapi still boleh guna set bersalin coz yang ni senang sangat nak guna. Semuanya dah disukat dan dipek berasingan, so dah tak perlu nak sukat lagi dah. Semuanya boleh buat sendiri. Bengkung pun boleh pakai sendiri jer, tak perlu tunggu hubby balik baru boleh pakai.

Sebelum2 ni kami dah survey set2 bersalin yang ada kat kedai2. Macam2 brand dan macam2 harga. Setakat yang kami survey, yang ni paling lengkap, senang nak guna and paling murah compared to set bersalin yang branded yang dijual kat kedai2. Bukan tu jer, beli set bersalin ni dapat bengkung FREE (^^).

Semuanya dah dipek, senang nak guna, tak perlu nak sukat sendiri...

Supplement - Kenapa Ia Penting

Antara supplement yang diambil setiap hari

Lepas bersalin kali ni, seluruh badan rasa sakit2 coz baby agak besar, so masa teran tu banyak guna tenaga. Memang berbeza sangat la berbanding masa bersalin anak2 yang lain2. Nak jalan pun kena slow2. Teringat masa bersalin Aisyah dulu, lepas bersalin dah boleh berlari. Sihat dan bertenaga. Tak macam orang lepas bersalin (^^).

Tapi walaupun badan rasa sakit, syukur Alhamdulillah, bila maintain ambil supplement, saya masih boleh tolong hubby uruskan rumah. Hari ke 3 bersalin, saya dah boleh basuh baju sementara hubby tolong uruskan anak2 dan kemas rumah. Cuma pergerakan tu agak slow sikit la...

Kesian pulak kat hubby, macam2 karenah anak2. Kejap2 kena sapu lantai. Lepas tu kena mop pulak coz ada yang makan bersepah, ada yang tuang air atas lantai. Syukur sangat2 coz saya masih dikurniakan sedikit tenaga untuk assist hubby uruskan rumah. At least, saya boleh kurangkan sikit kerja hubby kat rumah ni.

Ramai yang bertanya, tak balik berpantang di kampung ker. Bukannya tak nak balik, tapi anak2 sekolah. Lagipun, memang dah biasa berpantang sendiri di KL ni sejak anak ke 2 lagi dah.

Bila difikirkan, memang penting sebenarnya ambil supplement ni. Badan kita jadi lebih sihat dan bertenaga. So, thanx a lot to my hubby coz sediakan set supplement yang cukup lengkap untuk saya. Bila maintain ambil supplement setiap hari, walaupun badan rasa sakit2, tapi still mampu untuk buat kerja rumah.

Dan hari ni, hubby dah start kerja. So, semua kerja rumah, saya dah kena buat sendiri, termasuklah melayan karenah 6 orang anak yang masih kecil. Walaupun baru seminggu bersalin, tapi saya rasa syukur sangat2 coz saya dah boleh uruskan rumah dan anak2 seperti biasa. All thanx to Allah di atas rezki yang dikurniakan, dapat la kami sefamily maintain ambil supplement and also to hubby coz always prihatin tentang kesihatan kami sefamily... I love you bang... (^^)

Catatan Kehamilan Ke 6

For the first time, baby overdue. Others semuanya bersalin awal. Kali ni overdue 3 hari. Tapi walaupun dah sarat, malam sebelum due sempat lagi ke rumah ayah saudara kat Gombak... hehehe... semua terkejut bila saya cakap due keesokan harinya sedangkan saya masih larat mendukung Hifdzi dan kelihatan bertenaga...

Ahad, 10 June : Hubby ada appointment dengan kawan dia. Plan tengahari tu nak bawa anak2 keluar jalan2. Tup tup, keluar tanda ('turun darah'). So, terpaksa cancel... kesian pulak kat anak2...

Selepas siap2, hubby bawa saya ke klinik. Doktor cek, jalan baru buka 2cm. Tapi dia suggest supaya terus admit. So, kami pilih untuk admit ke wad satu katil (bilik Jupiter). Senang nanti anak2 boleh datang visit.

Seronok main dalam bilik sambil tengok kartun... huhuhu...

Ni lah ragam anak2 bila datang visit. Berlari ke sana ke mari, panjat katil, conquer katil, tengok kartun... huhuhu... Alhamdulillah kami admit ke wad satu katil... kalau tak....
